Republican Party of Florida Launches New Digital Ad: “David Jolly Would Undo What Ron DeSantis Built”

Statewide digital campaign reaches Republican voters as early voting begins

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today the Republican Party of Florida launched a new video and digital ad campaign, “David Jolly Would Undo What Ron DeSantis Built,” contrasting Governor Ron DeSantis’s record of leadership with liberal David Jolly’s long history of opposing it.

The ad uses Jolly’s own words to show how he views Governor DeSantis. Jolly has said, “I don’t think Ron DeSantis is the smartest person in the state,” called him “a uniquely unlikable person on the campaign trail,” and claimed that “Ron DeSantis actually lies about his COVID record.” He has gone further, saying, “I don’t support Ron DeSantis and I do think Ron DeSantis’s agenda is dangerous,” and accusing the Governor of being “determined to run for the White House to represent white America.”

The digital campaign will serve the ad to Republican voters across Florida as early voting begins, urging them to vote early and keep Florida on the path Governor DeSantis set.

“Ron DeSantis turned Florida into the free state of America. He stood up to Fauci, kept Florida open, cut taxes, and fixed our schools and universities, and families from across the country moved here because of it,” said Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power. “David Jolly has spent years attacking every bit of that record on cable news, and now he wants the keys to the Governor’s Mansion so he can undo it. Florida Republicans know what’s at stake. Early voting starts today, and we will turn out to keep Florida free by electing Byron Donalds.”
