National Democrats Focus on Florida to Push Their Far-Left Agenda
Tallahassee, Fla. – Washington Democrats are making another push into Florida, with Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy coming to campaign for Democrat Socialist Angie Nixon and raise money for her campaign against Senator Ashley Moody.
Murphy, who is reportedly considering a 2028 presidential run, says Democrats should not overlook Florida and invest in the state to turn it blue.
“There is no way Florida, a state that has made its conservative priorities clear, is becoming a blue state,” said Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power. “Safer communities, economic opportunities, parental rights, and policies that put Floridians first under Republican leadership has made us the lead state for common sense policies. Now, national Democrats like Murphy, Bernie Sanders, and the Squad want to spend their time and money to help elect Socialist Angie Nixon to run our state to the ground. We will never let that happen as we continue to fight for the policies that keep our state strong, protect our communities, and give families the opportunity to succeed,” said Power.
