Members Approve Transformational Plan Featuring New Lifestyle & Wellness Center and Main Clubhouse Renovation

Members of Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club have officially approved the 2026 Capital Improvements Program, a comprehensive plan designed to elevate the Club’s amenities and long-term member experience. The program includes a full renovation of the Main Clubhouse and the development of a new Lifestyle & Wellness Center, The Cove.

The approval follows a membership vote and reflects strong support for a vision shaped by extensive member feedback, surveys, club benchmarking, and strategic planning. The enhancements are designed to address key priorities, including expanded dining, enhanced social spaces, modern lifestyle and wellness amenities, and the addition of a comfort station.

The Cove Lifestyle + Wellness Center
The program includes the development of The Cove, a new standalone Lifestyle & Wellness Center, with construction expected to begin in Fall 2026 and be completed in Fall 2027.
The approximately 15,000-square-foot facility will feature:
• Fitness and training spaces
• Spa and private treatment rooms
• Dedicated Pilates studios and multipurpose areas
• Indoor and outdoor fitness spaces
• A resort-style pool with lap lanes, sun shelf, and hot tub
• A café and outdoor gazebo bar
• Relaxation spaces, including a Zen garden and views overlooking the Indian River Lagoon
Designed as a year-round destination, The Cove will expand wellness, recreation, and social opportunities while helping distribute activity across the property.

Main Clubhouse Renovation
The Main Clubhouse will undergo a renovation beginning in Summer 2027, with completion anticipated in Fall 2028. Enhancements will include:
• Expanded indoor and outdoor dining with panoramic golf and lake views
• A new indoor-outdoor gathering bar serving as a central social hub
• Enlarged, flexible dining and event spaces
• A redesigned lobby with concierge services and improved arrival experience
• Expanded card rooms accommodating up to 100 members
• Renovated locker rooms and an enlarged golf shop
• A new grab-and-go café and marketplace, along with an upgraded Spoonbills dining experience offering a refreshed snack bar concept with quick bites and casual dining

Comfort Station
The program also includes the addition of a new comfort station, positioned adjacent to the newly renovated practice facility and croquet lawn to improve convenience and overall member experience. The comfort station will feature restrooms, beverage stations, and a dedicated food and beverage service area offering light fare.

Phased Implementation
The improvements will be completed in two phases:
• Phase I (Fall 2026 – Fall 2027): The Cove Lifestyle + Wellness Center
• Phase II (Summer 2027 – Fall 2028): Main Clubhouse Renovation

Throughout construction, members will continue to enjoy access to key amenities, including the Beach Club, temporary dining options, and reciprocal club arrangements.
